Melbourne office worker Faith Haugh, aged 41, may hold the world record for the number of egg donations.
When she exceeded the legal total of egg donations in Australia the Melbourne resident went overseas to carry on donating.
Ms Haugh is believed to hold the record for egg donations, having started 18 years ago as a sort of "hobby".
After she reached the 10-family donation cap in Australia, she began donating in Mumbai.
She downplayed the number saying, "Some people will say that's quite egotistical of you, but I don't look at it as a feather in my cap or a reflection on the kind of person I am,” Ms Haugh said. “I think about the people who have these problems and it's emotionally crippling. They'd give their soul just to become parents, so why wouldn't you help? I never set out to set a record."
